WELCOME TO KENNETT WOMEN'S LACROSSE - bOLD Lax!

Dust off your sticks and skills and step back on the field!!  This is a super fun, relaxed lacrosse league aimed at bringing together women 35+ years of age who miss getting out to play lacrosse.  The time is now for those of you who started on a wooden stick and want to pretend-sprint with friends and have a good laugh trying to be competitive!
This league is run by the people in it - it’s everyone’s league so feel free to get involved, offer to organize a practice, etc!  Typical practice includes warm-ups, skills/drills, mini games, WATER BREAKS of course, and half field scrimmages (or full field depending on number of people)!  It is all very relaxed - no need to stress about how long it’s been since you played - all skill levels welcome!  We often go just around the corner to The Creamery or Braeloch Brewing afterwards.

Equipment and Uniform

Safety is of utmost importance to our organization and each player will need to provide her own equipment. This includes a stick, mouthguard, face mask and US Lacrosse approved eye gear. Helmets are optional, but not required. We recommend cleats.

It is up to players to ensure their equipment meets current safety standards. The Safety Equipment Institute is a third party certification organization and this link will take you to that organization’s certification for recreational sports equipment. https://www.seinet.org/search.htm
