WELCOME TO KENNETT WOMEN'S FIELD HOCKEY

Ready to BUST OUT OLD MOVES!!!  Dust off your sticks and skills and step back on the field you love!!!  This is a super fun, relaxed field hockey league aimed at bringing together women 35+ years of age who miss getting out to play your favorite childhood sport!  Get ready to drive, scoop, and flick your way back to laughter and the fun feeling of your field hockey days!
There is also an adult lacrosse program - BOOM Field Hockey (35+).  You have the option to sign up for just field hockey OR field hockey AND lacrosse (at a combined price) if you can’t choose which sport you want to play.  If you sign up for the “combo package”, then each week you can pick which sport you want to play.  Both sports will be running 4:00-5:30 at Legacy Fields so you can alternate based on what you feel like playing each week.

Equipment and Uniform

Safety is of utmost importance to our organization and each player will need to provide her own equipment. This includes a stick, mouthguard, and eye protection. We recommend cleats.

It is up to players to ensure their equipment meets current safety standards. The Safety Equipment Institute is a third party certification organization and this link will take you to that organization’s certification for recreational sports equipment. https://www.seinet.org/search.htm

The Season

The season will begin on September 17, 2023 and end on October 29, 2023.  The league will play every Sunday from April through May from 4:00-5:30PM at Legacy Fields in Kennett Square, PA.
